May 16th, 2008 - Solace Systems today announced a partnership agreement with TIBCO Software Inc. to help develop and manufacture a hardware appliance that capitalizes on TIBCO’s messaging software technology and integrates fully into the TIBCO Rendezvous® product family.

The TIBCO Messaging Appliance™ will offer throughput with ultra-low latency allowing throughput with ultra-low latency allowing organizations to accelerate data delivery while simplifying operations and substantially reducing datacenter footprint.

Hardware complements software by implementing core performance-sensitive operations in dedicated silicon to accelerate execution speeds and reduce latency. Through this partnership, Solace will act as TIBCO’s manufacturing partner to produce this new hardware platform for distribution as part of the TIBCO Rendezvous product family.

The TIBCO Messaging Appliance is scheduled for release in calendar Q4 2008.
