MetaQuotes Software Corp. Starts the Automated Trading Championship

The developer of online trading platforms for financial markets, MetaQuotes Software Corp. co-sponsoring with Spacevision Switzerland SA, FXDirectDealer LLC. and Interbank FX LLC. commences the brand-new Automated Trading Championship 2006.

Unlike various traders' contests, this Championship does not propose competition amongst traders, only their Expert Advisors The prize reserves make US$ 80,000. The Championship will start on the 1st October 2006 for almost three months (until the 25th December 2006). Registration of participants started on the 1st of August 2006. Over 400 developers worldwide have already registered as the Championship's participants.

A special Championship website (http://championship.mql4.com ) has already been released. On this website, interviews with some participants are published. Starting from the 1st October 2006, the website will display current results of the Championship and reports of its progress, too. All this information is available to the public.

The lead developer of MetaTrader 4 Client Terminal and MetaQuotes Language 4 (MQL4) Stanislav Starikov declared: ?At present, the unprecedented upturn, even boom of automated trading can be observed.
