23rd July, 2008 - SR Labs now connected to the high-speed, low latency BATS trading platform
SR Labs Connects to BATS
Samir Islam, Vice President of Technology, SR Labs: "Combined with the certification of the entire line of SMDS line handlers on 64 bit architecture, SR Labs' product portfolio is the single most complete trading solution for our customers."
SR Labs enables connectivity to BATS through its Low Latency Order Management System (LOMS) and enables market data access to BATS' PITCH market data feed via the SR Market Data Solution (SMDS).
"BATS is pleased to announce this relationship with SR Labs, a firm working to create unique solutions for its clients, and we look forward to further agreements as we move closer to Exchange status," said Randy Williams, vice president in charge of sales and communications.
Dmitriy Meshkov, senior developer at SR Labs, said "SR Labs is pleased to have BATS as an option for our low latency strategy management system. Our clients now have access to improved liquidity as well as lower execution costs combined with our high speed systems."
Samir Islam, vice president of technology at SR Labs, added: "We have released an SMDS line handler for BATS PITCH. Combined with the certification of the entire line of SMDS line handlers on 64 bit architecture, SR Labs' product portfolio is the single most complete trading solution for our customers."
Dmitriy Meshkov, Senior Developer, SR Labs: "SR Labs is pleased to have BATS as an option for our low latency strategy management system."
The LOMS Open Strategy Container is designed from the ground up to accelerate high frequency algorithmic trading applications, providing end users with infrastructure to develop and deploy black box trading strategies. SMDS allows firms to run their proprietary trading strategies in-process with SR Labs' market data libraries and achieve fully co-location compliant black box trading architecture with minimum network overhead and intelligent resource management.
