Fortis Clearing Offers New LIFFE Connection
Fortis Clearing has announced it can now offer LIFFE Connect services and has implemented a Multi-Market Broadband Access solution.
Fortis Bank Global Clearing N.V. (FBGC) can
now offer the new 100 MB high bandwidth, low latency, LIFFE CONNECT services to
all its direct market access clients. Simultaneously, FBGC has implemented the
new Multi-Market Broadband Access (MMBA) solution for the Euronext cash markets
and, independent of ISV's used, for all of its Market Access clients.
FBGC provides direct market access and clearing Services to over 45 exchanges worldwide. According to Chris Lee, global head of market access: "By adopting the LIFFE CONNECT services together with the MMBA Cash Market solution, clients of FBGC using Market Access will greatly benefit from lower latency and higher bandwidth without having to make substantial investments in exchange infrastructure.
"We see an increasing number of clients using our hosting and proximity solutions around the globe for their trading activities on Global derivatives, cash and multilateral trading facilities. FBGC has identified this need and is able to offer a one- stop-shop solution for hosting, fast and reliable direct market access, clearing and settlement services."
