Jack Vensel named EVP of Sales and Marketing at Automated Trading Desk
Automated Trading Desk, LLC (ATD) today announced the appointment of Jack Vensel as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He will be responsible for developing and managing sell-side sales and consolidated marketing efforts for ATD's operations.
Mr. Vensel was previously an Executive Vice President at Island ECN, the former electronic marketplace now known as NASDAQ's INET. At Island, Mr. Vensel increased company revenue from $9 million to over $165 million in just three years, while expanding the company's customer base to over 700 clients. Mr. Vensel established Island's sales department, including a successful international sales effort that helped contribute to tripling the company's executed shares to over 90 billion in 2001..
