GFI appoints Head of Development

GFI Group Inc. has named Jerry Dobner Global Head of Development. Mr. Dobner will report to Colin Heffron, GFI’s President, and will remain at GFI’s New York head office.

As Global Head of Development, Mr. Dobner will take overall responsibility for business analysis, quality assurance and development for GFI’s electronic trading platforms - CreditMatch, GFI ForexMatch and EnergyMatch. He will also assist the development team of GFI FENICS –pricing, analytics and risk management software – headed up globally by Richard Brunt.
