StreamBase Event Processing Platform
The StreamBase Event Processing Platform is high-performance software for rapidly building systems that analyze and act on real-time streaming data. With StreamBase, organizations rapidly build real-time systems that can generate millions of dollars in new profits and are deployed at a fraction of the cost and risk of alternatives.
StreamBase Server
The StreamBase Server, the run-time engine of the StreamBase Event Processing Platform, is an ultra low-latency application server optimized for processing real-time streaming event data at throughput rates of 10s of thousands of messages/second up to 500,000+ messages/second or more on multi-core CPU hardware.
The Server's multi-threaded architecture runs in 64-bit operating systems, takes full advantage of multi-core CPUs, scales readily across blades and clusters, and offers enterprise-class resilience (high availability) and security options).
Streambase Adapters
An important component of the StreamBase Event Processing Platform is the broad set of StreamBase software connectors that integrate with a variety of real-time data feeds and messaging systems, high-capacity data stores, and real-time interactive dashboards.
StreamBase Studio
StreamBase Studio™, one of three components of the StreamBase Event Processing Platform, is a powerful Eclipse-based integrated development environment (IDE) which enables developers to design real-time applications using the industry's first and only graphical event-flow language (StreamSQL EventFlow). Studio users can also write applications in the standards-based StreamSQL text language--the leading SQL extension for streaming data. Development is typically cut to a fraction of the time compared to custom-coding or other alternatives. Studio provides rich user interface support for the full application lifecycle, spanning feed integration, application modeling, development, stream recording/playback, testing, debugging, and integration with downstream systems and dashboards.
Based on the Eclipse open development platform, StreamBase Studio also provides the unique advantage of enabling developers to leverage the entire ecosystem of Eclipse plug-ins from within the StreamBase IDE. This includes capabilities for source code version control, task management, graphical UI development and integration, XML editing, and SQL design.
