IRN is very pleased to bring you the 4th Annual Energy Trading Regulations & Compliance 2014 Summit taking place on 11-12th March 2014 in London.
The Summit continues to provide a fundamental platform to discuss the uncertainty and industry response to the restrictive nature of the latest regulatory provisions for energy trading companies.
The Summit is designed to address the practical implementation measures around:
- MiFID II
ETRC 2014 is built on a strong reputation that continues to connect market participants from across the industry in Europe and globally. Last year's ETRC Summit gathered over 100 people from the leading energy trading companies and energy trading banks, including Axpo, BP, E.ON, ENI, Gazprom, GDF Suez, Hess Corporation, Petronas Energy Trading, RWEST, and many others. Endorsed by EFET, the Summit also had the pleasure of welcoming regulatory authorities such as ACER and FCA, and relevant associations within the sector.
This year we are proud to bring you an even stronger platform to continue last year's discussions and gauge the progress since.
The Summit will focus on EMIR's latest technical standards, how they will drive increased transparency and reduce the risks associated with the OTC derivatives market; presentations will focus on how the changes will impact on your company's compliance and business model
The latest around REMIT will be discussed in light of how companies are responding to the threshold on inside information and practical issues concerning the disclosure of inside information
There will be a focus on MiFID II, given that from 2015 MiFID II is expected to become law. We'll discuss in detail what this will mean for your company's business model and the consequent implications on market liquidity
Presentations will also provide latest developments around the Dodd Frank Act, CFTC's ruling, and the important link and dependency the DFA has with EU regulations
