Trayport, a provider of energy trading solutions to traders, brokers and exchanges worldwide has announced that its Straight Through Processing (STP) Clearing Link supporting realtime STP for OTC cleared markets is now available at Singapore Exchange (SGX).
London - SGX is Asia's multi-asset class clearing house offering a suite of 45 OTC commodity products covering bulk commodities, freight, energy and physical rubber.
Trayport's Hosted Clearing Link solution will significantly reduce complexity for Brokers, eliminating the need for brokers to host and configure multiple clearing links. The STP Clearing Link will incorporate Trayport's Gold Mapping Service to reduce administration for clients and improve post trade workflows including reconciliation and reporting accuracy.
"True STP for OTC cleared products is an important part of our strategy. We are happy to provide traders and brokers with more choices in the way they connect to our clearing service," said Julie Heng, Head of Commodities, SGX.
Yvonne Twiss, Trayport's Vice President - Singapore, said "We are delighted to be connected to SGX for realtime STP clearing. Trayport is committed to providing easy access to CCPs for OTC Brokers and traders in the region and we believe this will further drive growth in several key regional markets including iron ore and energy."
