"We've had great feedback from clients on how RTD Tango QUANT enables them to manage the entire life cycle of their trading strategies with one platform."

Chicago - RTS Realtime Systems Group said it launched RTD Tango QUANT Version 2.0, adding features such as new portfolio management tools and post-trade analysis as it aims to help customers manage the whole life cycle of their trading strategies.

RTD Tango QUANT, which was launched globally last year, is a tool to design, optimise, analyse and execute automated trading strategies based on technical analysis.

"With this version of our successful RTD Tango QUANT solution, we've addressed clients' evolving needs and made the offering more closely aligned with their behaviour by providing comprehensive portfolio management, better information management, post-trade analysis and more connectivity options," RTS CEO Steffen Gemuenden said.

"We've had great feedback from clients on how RTD Tango QUANT enables them to manage the entire life cycle of their trading strategies with one platform."

The 2.0 version includes portfolio management facilities that extend the strategy-designing capabilities of the platform. Users can create trading portfolios across multiple exchanges and asset classes and then back-test, analyse and execute in live markets. They can track activities with real-time graphs and reports.

The new post-trade analytics feature allows clients to analyse not only trades generated by RTD Tango QUANT but also any historical trade repositories for risks, problem areas and gaps in executions; they can build and analyse a range of hypothetical scenarios.

Version 2.0 also enables clients of Interactive Brokers to access RTD Tango QUANT directly, providing the IB technology for execution along with the RTS functionality.

RTS said firms interested in maintaining their own history data can use the RTD Market Data Server to build and maintain their own in-house data repository.
