Steffen Gemuenden, CEO, RTS: “We’ve been very fortunate to enjoy significant growth over the past year. The restructuring - with Timo, Alexander and Stéphane in these key roles – reflects that growth and enables us to facilitate additional expansion.”

RTS Realtime Systems Group(RTS), the trading solutions provider, has announced that the firm has promoted two officials to Managing Director, with regional responsibility for the Americas and Europe, as part of a global restructuring initiative. Timo Pentner, RTS Senior Vice President, Solutions Management & IT Operations, has been promoted to Managing Director, Americas. Alexander Kranz, Head of Solutions Management & IT Operations, Europe, has been elevated to Managing Director, Europe.

The moves follow the appointment last summer of Stéphane Lannoy as Managing Director, Asia Pacific.

Under the restructuring, all operations and offices within RTS now fall within three business units: the Americas, Asia and Europe. In their new roles, Pentner and Kranz oversee the business activities of all departments in their respective regions and serve as the senior management representative in the business units. They also maintain their leadership responsibilities in Solutions Management & IT Operations. Together with other key members of senior management, the regional Managing Directors will set strategic objectives for RTS globally and report directly to the Executive Board.

Steffen Gemuenden, RTS CEO, said: “We’ve been very fortunate to enjoy significant growth over the past year. The restructuring - with Timo, Alexander and Stéphane in these key roles – reflects that growth and enables us to facilitate additional expansion. We can also better serve our clients by streamlining points of contact for firms operating across countries and regions, as well as strengthening our regional offices and teams.”

Kranz, based in the RTS Frankfurt headquarters, will have responsibility for Europe, including the offices in London, Amsterdam, Paris and Stockholm. Pentner, based in the RTS Americas headquarters in Chicago, will oversee North and Latin America, including the New York office. Lannoy, based in the RTS Asian Pacific region, including the office in Sydney.
