Alliance is latest product expansion of CFN Low Latency Global Financial Exchange Platform
Sebastian Yoon, Vice President of Financial Network Services, CFN: "The Essex Radez Velocitick service compliments our efforts and fits perfectly with our mission."
CFN Services, a managed infrastructure services company providing ultra-low latency networking, network design, and managed services, has announced that it has selected Essex Radez as its North American market data partner.
As vendor-of-record for delivery of all North American exchange feeds through its Velocitick subsidiary, Essex Radez offers clients the ability to co-locate any number of servers at any of its five data centers: Equinix Secaucus, Savvis Weehawken, NASDAQ Carteret, Equinix Chicago, and CBOE Chicago. Additionally, through its private network, the firm provides execution connectivity to all major trading venues.
The alliance with Radez is the latest step in CFN's drive to unify its communication and co-location infrastructure in an ecosystem supporting high frequency traders; delivered on the CFN Low Latency Global Financial Exchange Platform. This ecosystem is based on CFN providing market data and exchange connectivity while maintaining vendor neutrality by partnering with technology firms offering hosted access to ticker plants, order and risk management systems, historical data, and related services.
"Our mission is to provide our clients with the nucleus they need to implement their trading strategies. This nucleus consists of market data, execution connectivity, and a global complex of co-location facilities joined together on our network. The Essex Radez Velocitick service complements our efforts and fits perfectly with our mission," said Sebastian Yoon, Vice President of Financial Network Services at CFN. "We look forward to working with the Radez team and to enhancing this foundation by partnering with technology providers to offer our clients a wide selection of the best systems available," added Yoon.
Mike Eichin, director of operations, Essex Radez: "We look forward to working with CFN in offering our clients access to, and support in, markets outside North America."
"The alliance with CFN has provided our clients with the immediate benefit that comes from increased capacity and reduced latency on key network segments," said Mike Eichin, director of operations for Essex Radez. "We look forward to working with CFN in offering our clients access to, and support in, markets outside North America," added Eichin.
