Paris - FPGA-based solutions company NovaSparks said it had hired Tom Wojciechowski to join its management team as executive vice president of business development.

"Wojciechowski brings deep global experience working with data vendors, financial institutions, managed service providers and exchanges. He joins during a period of rapid growth in both the company's product offerings and the client base," NovaSparks said.

Wojciechowski said readily available FPGA appliances were becoming increasingly important when building deterministic ultra-low latency architectures".

Prior to Novasparks, Wojciechowski was a senior vice president at Thomson Reuters where he was responsible for managing the Citibank business on a global basis. He has also held executive level positions at Hyperfeed, GlobalCenter and Reuters.
