Denver - CQG Inc. has announced that Vesna Straser, Ph.D. has joined the company as Product Manager for Trading Analytics.

"Vesna comes to us with an impressive background and a track record of successful product creation, quantitative analysis, and execution performance advisory in the electronic trading space," said Mark Fischer, CQG's Vice President of Product Management. "She is a great addition to our product management team, and her focus is to drive our market data, trading analytics, and algorithmic trading initiatives."

Dr. Straser most recently worked at Barclays Plc. where she was responsible for product management of equity algorithmic trading strategies for the Americas. Prior to joining Barclays, Dr. Straser worked at Jefferies and Co. and ITG Inc., where she was responsible for quantitative research and the development of transaction cost models, automated trading strategies, and pre- and post-trade analysis tools. Dr. Straser has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Notre Dame. She is based in New York.
