"Our ExStream product delivers an algorithmic trading capability we believe is unrivalled."

London - Actant, the trading solutions provider, has announced the successful integration of its ExStream programmable trading application with Interactive Brokers execution technologies. Actant ExStream is a new breed of algorithmic trading software designed to give traders improved performance and control. Using ExStream Quick Script, traders can develop custom algorithms capable of executing multi-leg multi-asset class trading strategies across multiple trading venues.

Whilst IB clients will continue to benefit from IB's direct market access to stocks, options, futures, forex, bonds and funds, the addition of ExStream intends to enable a level of algorithmic price discovery, options execution management, smart hedge, spread trading and portfolio risk management previously enjoyed solely by larger trading desks and financial institutions.

Rob Prior, CEO of Actant Inc, said, "Our ExStream product delivers an algorithmic trading capability we believe is unrivalled. Users will enjoy the benefits of developing their own trading strategies in real-time, with the flexibility to quickly modify a strategy to take advantage of changing market trends, all without compromising on performance or safety".
