optionsXpress Holdings unveils beta version of new downloadable trading console Xtend2

David Fisher, Chief Executive Officer, Holdings Inc:"Xtend2 is designed for traders who want to be more engaged in the markets by bringing speed, power and customization together to create a truly unique experience."

optionsXpress Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: OXPS) has unveiled a beta version of Xtend2, a new downloadable trading console that is intended to give investors control over every aspect of their trading experience (see it in action at www.myxtend.com). Combining the power of existing streaming trading platforms with the fun and ease of use of an innovative and intuitive design, Xtend2 aims to provide traders with the support they desire in today's fast-moving markets.

"Xtend2 is designed for traders who want to be more engaged in the markets by bringing speed, power and customization together to create a truly unique experience," says David Fisher, Chief Executive Officer of Holdings, Inc. "People will be blown away not only by its power and flexibility, but also by how easy it is to use."

optionsXpress states that this next generation platform builds on common features of active trader platforms such as streaming quotes and one-click trading while adding new features like drag-and-drop symbols, detailed trade views and ladder trading. Xtend2 also helps traders individualize their trading experience by enabling them to organize their platform however they want through simple one-step functionality.

"We believe Xtend2 is the most intuitive and flexible trading platform available. It allows customers to design a trading platform that looks the way they want with a few easy clicks of the mouse," says optionsXpress Chief Innovation Officer Sairam Rangachari. "Traders will find that beyond the incredible power and great-looking design, Xtend2 is also really a blast to use."
