OptionMetrics hires vice president of operations

OptionMetrics names industry veteran Robert Siverson as vice president of operations.

New York - OptionMetrics, the provider of historical option price data, tools and analytics, has announced it has hired Robert Siverson as vice president of operations. Mr. Siverson will be responsible for heading up development, testing and operations at OptionMetrics.

Mr. Siverson is a financial services veteran with 18 years of experience. Before joining OptionMetrics, he served as director of systems & product strategy at the International Securities Exchange, where he spent the last 13 years. In that position he managed the development of a new trader workstation, PrecISE Trade and led other major project management initiatives to further diversify the firm's revenue stream. Prior to that, he led the software development team at UBS Financial Services (previously Paine Webber). Mr. Siverson has a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California, San Diego.
