New York - Perseus, a provider of managed services and connectivity, has announced improvements to its network route between Chicago and Tokyo. Once the project is complete, Perseus said it will offer the lowest latency connectivity commercially available between the two markets.
The Pacific Express route is the result of optimizations on the existing fiber optic route, with an expected round trip latency below 120ms between CME Aurora and @Tokyo data centers, anticipated to be completed in February 2017. This will be executed leveraging proprietary network assets and gives Perseus the exclusive rights to this route.
In addition to network services, Perseus will also be able to deliver low latency trans-Pacific market data and direct market access services to other liquidity centers in Asia including Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Sydney and Mumbai.
