Deutsche Bank's Marc Hofmann joins SWIFT as Chief Information Security Officer

Brussels - Marc Hofmann will join SWIFT on 1 November to lead the Global Security team. Together with SWIFT's Security Operations, Hofmann will oversee the development and implementation of SWIFT's Cyber Security Roadmap.

Hofmann will report to Chief Technology Officer Craig Young and will work closely with Alain Desausoi who will serve as Deputy Chief Information Security Officer in the new organisation.

Hofmann joins SWIFT from Deutsche Bank where during the past 8 years he held various CISO roles, most recently as Regional Chief Information Security Officer for the UK and Ireland.

Prior to working at Deutsche Bank, Hofmann held a number of IT security roles, among others at Ernst & Young. Hofmann holds a PhD in economics with a focus on banking regulation, IT and risk management.
