Paris - Horizon Software has announced that Eurobank Equities, the brokerage arm of Eurobank, one of the four systemic banks in Greece, has gone live with Horizon Software.

Eurobank Equities chose Horizon's Platform for Automated Trading for click trading, market making and agency trading on the Athens Exchange. It is the second Greek broker to go live with Horizon as a replacement for its legacy system.

Horizon's trading platform will enable Eurobank Equities to perform market making for stocks, stock options and stock futures as well as index futures and options. The traders at Eurobank Equities will use Horizon to hedge, create trading strategies and monitor the market. The platform will also be used for real-time market data and to execute transactions on the Helex market through native connectivity.

Sylvain Thieullent, CEO of Horizon Software, commented: "We are delighted that Greek banks have put so much trust in our click trading and market making technology."
