Jon Wilson, Cordium
London - Cordium, the provider of governance, risk and compliance services, is enhancing its MIFID II compliance offering for investment firms with the launch of its MIFID II Infrastructure Collateral Service.
The service provides compliance teams with a set of policies, procedures, manuals and related documentation required for adherence to MiFID II, ahead of the January 2018 deadline. Cordium has designed this collateral specifically to fit the structure and business needs of different investment firms. All essential MiFID II areas are addressed, including trade reporting, transaction reporting, best execution and dealing commissions.
Jon Wilson, Project Director at Cordium, said: "Updating policies and procedures is an essential, yet sometimes underappreciated, aspect of MiFID II compliance. From our extensive experience, we know regulators expect the same rigor in documentation as they will in the implementation process themselves. This service will save investment firms significant time and energy by providing them with resources they can trust to be accurate, impactful and backed by expertise."
