TraderTools Inc. a provider of business solutions, software and services to financial institutions trading FX, has announced that it has signed an OEM agreement with Caplin Systems Ltd. Caplin Trader, which enables access to a broad range of instruments via a single Web front-end, will be integrated with TraderTools' Liquidity Management Platform allowing for improved white-labeling capabilities.
"Delivering a high-quality trading experience directly to client desktops around the globe is a major technical challenge," explained Paul Caplin, CEO of Caplin Systems, "particularly for multi-product trading. Caplin Trader has already met this challenge successfully for investment banks, and we are excited now to be providing an OEM solution for TraderTools. We are looking forward to working with them to create a unique FX trading screen that will be easy to integrate with other asset classes."
"By integrating with proven technologies, we continue to increase our competitive edge while concentrating on our core competencies," added Yaacov Heidingsfeld, COO of TraderTools. "By working with Caplin, we benefit from forward-looking thin-client technology and a rapidly deployable user interface, while our customers benefit from increased scalability and reliability as well as reduced latency."
TraderTools' LMP streams rates from liquidity sources into a pricing module, where they are made available to dealing and order management modules. An execution module closes deals and fills orders, to complete the trading circuit. The platform's Dynamic Liquidity Manager(tm) constantly calibrates both pricing and execution modules, for optimum efficiency and performance.
