This week in the US….Pipeline Trading Systems integrated its Blind Bid Options Cross (BBOX) into the Pipeline order control system, AlgoTrade launched AlgoCore and was named a connected partner of Trading Technologies, MF Global restructured its equity business and expanded its institutional product offering, and Bats received SEC approval for its US options exchange.
And in Europe….SunGard launched a UK based electronic agency broker-dealer for European markets, BATS announced the introduction of its European Smart Order Router and CQG added market data for NASDAQ OMX Nordic derivatives
Whilst in Asia….Tora and ConvergEx are to provide integration between TORA Compass, and ConvergEx’s Eze OMS, Fidessa announced its new high speed interface to the Korean Exchange, and in Japan Credit Suisse offered Direct Market Access speeds of under one millisecond via AES Velocity.
And in Partnerships and Mergers….ORC and Neonet announced a merger, Goral Trading selected OneTick for Data Management, Exegy and Essex Radez launched MarketDataPeaks.com, the first public website to track comprehensive market data rates, Credit Suisse and Bloomberg partnered to offer AES Options Complex Strategies and Citigroup and NYSE Technologies agreed to embark on a wide-ranging market data compliance and cost savings strategy.
Finally in other news; Corvil announced two new additions to the CorvilNet Latency Management System, Thomson Reuters launched NewsScope to provide faster access to machine readable news and Interactive Data introduced a new version of Client Site Processor to improve latency.
