Last night saw the first of Automated Trader's social and networking events. More than one hundred and thirty members of Chicago's vibrant trading community packed Ceres Bar at the Chicago Board of Trade for for an informal gathering with Automated Trader and co-host SpryWare.

Commenting after the event, Automated Trader's US Director, David Clayden, told the Automated Trader editorial desk "It was great! I had a fantastic time. The purpose of the evening was to put people together in a friendly setting and let them get to know each other. It's too easy these days to fall into a 'work, home, sleep, work' routine and to never get to meet your peers at other firms. Tonight allowed people to meet and exchange ideas, but more than anything to let their hair down and just have a good time."

Tanya Hart-Coakley, Chicago Sales Manager at Trading Technologies had her business card drawn from the hat to be presented with an Apple iPad by SpryWare director Dan May.

Automated Trader will be running similar events in New York, London and Singapore later in the year.
