New York & London - StreamBase Systems has announced that internet betting excahnge Betfair has selected StreamBase CEP. The selection allows Betfair to use StreamBase's Complex Event Processing (CEP) platform to integrate distributed real-time event flows into the Betfair cloud platform.

On average, Betfair processes 7 million transactions per day, higher than all major exchanges and MTFs in Europe. Adoption of the StreamBase Systems will also enable Betfair to make more real-time information available to customers, such as real-time feeds of matches and social media data.
