Chicago - Interactive Data Corporation, the provider of financial market data, analytics and related solutions, has announced that it has expanded the connectivity of its Interactive Data 7ticks® network to support the delivery of managed low and ultra-low latency market data feed services designed for advanced trading applications.
The Interactive Data 7ticks business has added direct connectivity to the London Stock Exchange (LSE), Turquoise, Italian Derivatives Exchange Market (IDEM), Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME), London Metal Exchange (LME), BATS Europe, Chi-X Europe, Quote MTF, SIX Swiss Exchange, Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), and Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE).
These exchanges complement its existing connectivity to North American equities, futures, options and FX markets. As a result of the expansion, Interactive Data now offers clients direct access to more than 50 markets. The 7ticks network also cross connects to financial markets in the Asia-Pacific region via data center connections in London and Chicago. Financial institutions in Japan can also now access the network.
