"A reliable and high-quality infrastructure with the lowest possible latency is mission-critical for buy-side, sell-side and financial service providers."
Vello Systems, the provider of cloud infrastructure and network virtualization solutions, has announced the deployment of its CX50T 10G cards for Hudson Fiber Network (HFN), the provider of high-bandwidth, low-latency networking solutions, on its New York and New Jersey Metro exchange routes.
The CX50T optical service card enables HFN to deploy five, 10G circuits on one card, which is up to five times the density of alternative solutions - minimizing data center footprint. In addition, the ultra low-latency, sub-five nanosecond cards coupled with HFN's metro exchange routes should enable HFN's financial clients to further lower their network latency when receiving market data and placing orders from multiple exchanges.
"A reliable and high-quality infrastructure with the lowest possible latency is mission-critical for buy-side, sell-side and financial service providers and this deployment is a crucial element to their operations," said Keith Muller, CEO, Hudson Fiber Network. "Our relationship with Vello Systems provides our clients with a competitive industry advantage and keeps HFN at the forefront of the low-latency, carrier race."
