Market participants to leverage Connexus to trade cleared interest rate derivatives
London - IPC Systems, the provider of voice and electronic trading communications solutions, has added Eris Exchange, a U.S.-based futures exchange, to IPC's Connexus Financial Extranet service.
Eris Exchange is an open access futures exchange for interest rate risk management, offering forward starting and spot starting interest rate swap futures contracts. Eris Exchange provides over-the-counter interest rate swaps with CME Clearing, offering participants cleared swap futures. Using IPC's Connexus, market participants can connect to the Eris SwapBookTM electronic trading platform.
"We are delighted that IPC is providing connectivity to a diverse pool of market participants seeking direct access to the Eris SwapBook electronic trading platform," said Christopher Rodriguez, chief sales and corporate development officer, Eris Exchange. "In a fluid and demanding trading environment, IPC is well positioned to provide professionally managed connectivity that is an essential component of the overall trading experience."
"We welcome Eris Exchange to our global community of capital market participants," said Joe Pickel, vice president, Network Services Product Management, IPC. "As electronic trading in interest rate and credit default swaps continues to flourish having venues such as Eris Exchange as a destination on Connexus provides traders with the flexibility required to trade rapidly growing asset classes."
