Technology firm TORA hires Momoko Itoh, formerly of Goldman Sachs, as head of sales in Singapore.
Singapore - Trading technology group TORA said it appointed Momoko Itoh as head of sales in Singapore.
Itoh will be responsible for expanding the company's presence in Singapore and Southeast Asia, with a focus on execution and order management system TORA Compass.
Itoh joins from Goldman Sachs in Tokyo where she had more than 11 years of experience in investment management, predominantly in Japan, spanning multiple asset classes across a mix of investment strategies.
"Singapore is an important hedge fund centre in Asia for onshore and offshore funds, including a significant number of Japanese offshore funds," said Chris Jenkins, TORA's managing director, Asia Pacific.
"Momoko's experience in Japan and her wealth of knowledge in fund management will both benefit TORA's client base and help drive the growth of the company in the region," he added.
