Citigroup joins OMIP

April 1st 2008 - OMIP – Operador do Mercado Ibérico de Energia, admitted its 27th Trading Member, the London-based investment firm Citigroup Global Markets Limited.

Moreover, the company also joins OMIClear – Sociedade de Compensação de Mercados de Energia, the clearing house of the MIBEL Derivatives Market, as a Direct Clearing Member.

With Citigroup, 7 London-based trading participants have been licensed to date. Citigroup Global Markets Limited is the European investment banking subsidiary of “Citigroup Global Markets Limited Inc.”, a global leading financial services company.
