Chief Operating Officer At The Australian Newspaper Quits-Report

The Chief Operating Officer at News Corp.'s (NWS) the Australian newspaper, John Allan, has resigned, the Australian newspaper reports on its website Monday.
The newspaper said Mr. Allan had led the newspaper's commercial and digital strategy for a year and quoted editor-in-chief Chris Mitchell thanking Mr. Allan for his contribution.
A spokesman for News Corp.'s Australian unit, News Ltd., was unreachable for comment.
News Corp. is the owner of Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal.
