AstraZeneca To Invest $150 Million In Russian Plant

MOSCOW -(Dow Jones)- AstraZeneca PLC (AZN, AZN.LN) will invest more than $150 million in building a plant in Russia, the Anglo-Swedish drug maker said on its website Thursday.
Production at the plant--to be built in the Kaluga region southwest of Moscow--is set for the spring of 2013, the company said.
The facility will manufacture drugs to treat cancer and other diseases, including those of the heart and digestive system.
