Australia's NBN Co Contracts Virgin Blue For Air Travel

MELBOURNE -(Dow Jones)- -NBN Co., the company set up by the Australian government to run a nationwide broadband network, said Thursday it has signed up Virgin Blue Holdings Ltd. (VBA.AU) to provide its air travel.
NBN said in a statement that it would require significant movement of people around Australia during the network's construction and design phase.
It said Virgin Blue was signed after an "extremely competitive" tender process.
