Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC) will acquire an energy-loan portfolio from BNP Paribas SA (BNP.FR), the Financial Times reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The deal is set to be announced Tuesday, according to the report. The portfolio has a face value of $11 billion.
BNP and Wells Fargo declined to comment to the newspaper.
