Spanish oil company Repsol YPF SA (REP.MC) is set to take legal action against any company attempting to invest in YPF SA (YPFD.BA), its Argentine unit seized last week, or its assets, the Financial Times reported on its website Sunday.

The company has primed lawyers to act against putative investors as Argentina seeks to attract capital to develop its shale gas reserves, a spokesman confirmed to the Financial Times.
