WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- The Federal Reserve said Friday that Sharon Mowry will be the Fed's new chief information officer and director of the Information Technology division.

Mowry started at the Fed in 1987 as a financial-reports analyst in the division before being appointed assistant director of the division in 2000 and then deputy director in 2007, the Fed said in the release.
