CPP Shopping For Overseas Assets

Canada Pension Plan, the second-largest public retirement fund manager (with C$117.4bln in assets), is considering a bid on overseas private-equity assets to benefit from low prices. One of the companies CPP is looking at is Wellcome Trust, a London-based charity that plans on selling part of a private-equity portfolio valued at £2.1bln in 2007. click here to return to the top of the page
