Insurers, pension funds invest an est. 10.7 bln in UK Q1 -- ONS

Insurance companies, trusts and pension funds invested an estimated 10.7 billion in the UK in the first-quarter of 2009, said the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
That's up 36.5 billion from the fourth quarter of 2008 when 25.8 billion was disinvested from the UK.
