US STOCKS: The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 31 pts or 0.29% at 10467.16, after trading in a 10387.39 to 10584.99 range. The Nasdaq Composite closed down 13 pts or 0.57% at 2251.69, after trading in a 2228.52 to 2282.94 range. * Globex traded US index futures are trading lower across the board into early European trade Friday. The S&P Sep contract was last down 3.30 points at 1093.70, with the Nasdaq Sep contract down 5.50 points at 1851.75. Dow futures are also edging lower, down 24 points at 10385.
