    The UK government said it will announce a new debt remit for the Debt Management Office (DMO) on Tuesday. The DMO is responsible for managing the issue of Treasury Gilts.  News of a changing remit comes after the government's move to invest GBP 37bln of capital in UK banks, as part of a wider rescue plan for the financial system.
